SOUL DEVOURED "Forces of Heresy - neue Version " (Reviews auf garageband.com)

(1) GOOD
VOCALS ARE GOOD. GUITARS GOT TO BE GOOD THEY HAVE NO CHOICE. THE OVERALL SOUND IS REALLY GOOD. THE PRODUCTION IS GREAT. THE DRUMMER RIPPS UP THAT DB. Extra Credit: Drums, Production, Beat Special Award: Grooviest Rhythm

(2) European metal at its finest!
Excellent riffage. Vox sound good and the guitars are sccrreeaammiinngg!!!! Awesome song.

(3) YEAH!!
Powerful, tight and agressive!! Well done!!! Are those bass-drums for real?, if so, IMPRESSIVE!!! Vocals suit the music perfect, and you might try experimenting with more diverse vocals also. Guitars are very well played, YEAH!! Also very nice sound!!! WELL Performed! GOOD LUCK! NB! Check out Lipstick Liontigers for some retro powermetal.

(4) Good
You sound really good love double bass it sounds like grindcore good. Extra Credit: Male Vocals, Guitars, Drums, Production, Lyrics

(5) Nice work
Very punishing opening I like it. I did have little bit of a hard time hearing the singer, but that may be due to my shitty speakers on my computer. The middle solo was good and was quite different from the rest of the song. I liked the overall sound good job!

(6) Death
Very death metal. Digging the way the drums go with the songs. The vocals are good because I'm into this kind of music.. I bet you have gotten alot of people not liking the vocals though. Guitars and drums flow well together, and the guitars have some good riffs. Overall the sound is alright. The drums should have been mic'd more during recording, but it turned out pretty good.

(7) Sing with Satan much?
That is what the I think of the vocals. The guitarist is VERY good. Awesome chops. But I gotta say, its been sooo long since I have heard double bass played like it was trying to paralyze me that I just rejoiced when I heard it. The drummer is insane and should get raise. Sound is very powerful. You guys will be signed soon if you are not already. Good job and good luck. Extra Credit: Guitars, Drums Special Award: Most Rocking Track

(8) Where do i get tickets
Perfect. Double bass hell. Unreal, very impressed. Perfect mix of thrash and death metal. I will be folling up with you guys for sure!

(9) All american heavy metal
Loving the voice...guitars are just the right speed for a track like this...sound was kick ass i liked it a lot...the drums kept the pace up loved the double bass Extra Credit: Male Vocals, Guitars, Drums, Lyrics, Melody, Beat, Mood

(10) I just dropped 20 bucks into your hat guys...
... since some classic metal coming on here from your intro. YES, DOUBLE BASS WAS GOOD! singer is good, guitar players are good, i bet they are playing hughes and kettner stacks, do your self a favor and replace that as soon as possible, it sound like its coming from a pvc pipe. other than that, you guys freagin rock, i'd like to hear some more originality to seperate you from every other band in this genre. I think you guys do have some seperation though, i get a rock vibe from some of the parts. I'm diggin the organs on the solo! Great work. (11) IS THIS DRUMMER HUMAN
T he over all sound is brutal, the drummer is amazing! Extra Credit: Drums

(12) Slipknot/Cradle of Filth Deluxe
Ok, Guitars are F*ckin' rockin' - the band is tight. The vox, however, are not my thing...I'm not into death metal, so I can't judge the vox. I would otherwise dig the hell out of this jam. By the way, I hate Cradle of Filth...because of their vocalist...You another band that could go a long way with someone else on the microphone....good luck

(13) Drumming Mayhem!
I'm not too into black metal but it sounds like you could compete with cradle of filth. Solos are dead but guitars are tight as hell. Lets try to not do the "gallop" again. The sound is pretty decent. Your drummer is really good. Keep up the work and you'll get there.

(14) Controlled Mayhem
This band is solid and very intense. Constantly drilling holes in the listeners heads. It reminds me of Kreator mixed with Destruction and Possessed... good shit - www.lokey.tk

(15) One of the better metal productions on Garageband.com!
Excellent!!! This is my favorite track yet! The production is well beyond amatuer as well as the musicianship. The lead guitar has great tone and clearity while the reast of the band sounds very tight and mechanical as metal should be. The vocals are a bit momo-tone for me at times - I'd like to hear more change up here, but the vocalist does a great job of sounding tough. Extra Credit: Guitars, Drums, Production

(16) Oldschool deathmetal
I am not much of a deathmetal fan, but i can apriciate this song. Good oldschool death metal reminds me a bit of carcass. The production of the song sounds great too, good guitar work, my compliments. Greetings: Erwince

(17) Raspvery Ripple
I liked the song. Guitars are good. Vocals are not. In general, musically - I keep feeling that you need to make some changes to make sure you don't just re-hash the past. More minor chord progressions on the intro for instance. Nice soloing. But then - it's just a solo, you know what I mean? There's writing a song which will make you genuinely scared, then there's just putting cliched structural elements into the song. You should take care not to drift too close to the latter. To that end, it might be worth experimenting with sounds and frequencies so that the music and performance is done justice by the sound. You can get the perfect sound in the room, but it will not record like that, in the same way that a photograph of a sunset will never be as powerful as the real thing. You need to compensate more for that. The vocals are just the same ol'. Not many distinguishing features. Just too raspey which, for this genre, will probably sell you more records, but that doesn't mean I have to like them. They didn't sound to me like they were made by anything particularly intimidating. In fact, the mental image is one of someone with long, dyed, black hair, almost inaudible and trying not to cough as they deliver the lyrics above the din of the band on the stage. It sounds more like a hairy troll that lives under the bridge than anything you'd be scared of running into on a dark night. Overcompensation is obvious to the listener. Use your lungs.

(18) Perfect drummer
Guitars are good, but that drummer!!.... The solo break could be better, it's good though. I love the riff after that solo. Don't like the voice, but maybe is just me, I don't dig that style of singing. The sound is great. Extra Credit: Guitars, Drums, Production, Beat Special Award: Most Rocking Track

(19) Rockin'
Good stuff. Definately talent here. Sounds rhythmically difficult. I like the black metal style vocals over the death metal riffs. Nice melodic break. One of the best songs I've heard on this site so far.

(20) Faster faster
Vocals sound pretty cool. Good metal tone. Guitars are cool. I like the speed of the song. Very fast and energy filled. The drums are crazy. The double bass in this song is nuts. During a couple parts in the begging my foot would have fallen off. And the solo/instrumental break is sweet. I can hear a metalica inflence hear, but who cares... Music is music. Rock on guys!! Extra Credit: Male Vocals, Guitars, Drums, Production, Mood

(21) Ummm....
The production is great. Very tight. The drums sound triggered. Cradle of Filthish. Everything sounds very good. The vocals don't sound strained and everything breaks in nice and tight with all the changes right on the money. The song itself is nothing to new but still a good song. Better then most heard on garageband. Good Luck. Extra Credit: Production

(22) W.O.W.
I can just imagine the pit that this song would create and... WOW. The brutality of this song and its quick transitions make it hard to forget. The overall sound, as well as individual instruments, including vocals, is verrrrrry nice. Vocals would need more clarity though, as it is a little hard to hear in the mix. (23) 0_o
Very dark, and well together. the band portin of this band sounds very good, but no offense, when i heard your singer i though of E.T. first. its cool, just not my favorite way of hearing a singer. there is a mass appeal for this kind of music, im just not part of it. i really am digging this guitar solo too. and your drummer is doing good. Extra Credit: Guitars, Drums, Production, Beat

(24) Good Kick Drum Speed
I have to compliment the drummer on his foot speed. The lead guitar was a little overbearing in the middle. Leaving the entire song all out rage, the song will be better. But overall, great song. The best thing I've heard on this godforsaken site yet. Everything else is happy happy goo-goo dolls crap. Keep it up, stay away from wuss-rock and you've got it made. Extra Credit: Male Vocals, Guitars, Drums, Bass, Production, Beat

(25) Killer Track
Damn, this track is very tight...tight, instrumentation wise...guitars are very good...i'm not one for guitar solo's but i like how you incorporate them into this track...I'm not a fan of growling/screeching vocals like this...but the vocals fit the song very well...overall sounds quality i give a B...some parts sound a little muddy

(26) Nice...
Recording doesn't sound great. Snare needs to be more prominent. Drummer is very good though!!! Along with the rest of the band. Really tight. Rough screaming vocals aren't my bag, but they really add to the over all feel. Nice guitar solo in middle. Keep on rocking you guys!! Sound great. Extra Credit: Guitars, Drums

(27) Just because it's fast doesn't mean it is good
There is some talent here but I think you guys need to play with the whole idea in mind, it sounds like you are just trying to fit in as much stuff as possible. The drums were good as was the guitar but I think the song lacked a feel of movement. The vocals were horrible but then I just can't stand the sound of some one growling into a mic because they think it makes them sound evil. The overall sound could have been a little cleaner but still sounded pretty good. Extra Credit: Guitars, Drums

(28) Metal-o-rama!
Sweet Intro/Beginning Thing. Wow, Awesome Fast Straight Double Bass. I Love The Vocals. Some very very sweet guitar riffs. Lots of speed metal beats, I like that. Guitar solos are always a plus too. This stuff rocks. The Vocals remind me of the band "Death", as well as does the rest of the instruments now that i think of it. Great Stuff. Extra Credit: Drums Special Award: Most Rocking Track

(29) MEAAAAATTTTTTLLLLLLEEEEEE
VERY FAST GOOD FOR what it is, fast fast fast is what i think, not a fan of this kinda music but rock on. Extra Credit: Guitars, Mood

(30) Wow, the double kick is CRAZY!!!
The vocals are creepy, not my style but still cool. The guitar player plays some very sweet and tasteful lines. I like that slinky, legato, whammy bar solo. I actually listened to that 3 times cause I thought it was great. Extra Credit: Guitars, Drums

(31) Less scream more sing
Holy double bass. Like many people, I think screaming gets old, and to be honest, you scream in a way that it creeps me out. I'm afraid I'm going to wake up tonight in a puddle of sweat and urine. I'm not digging the interlude so much, but hey, that's just one guys opinion. Less screaming more singing, if that's possible.

(32) Arrr
The guitars are really cool. They keep a persons interests. Wow and this solo isn't too technical but it flows excellently with the song. Very smooth. Ooh I like the transition right there too, that was pretty cool. The vocals sound like...umm...the singer doesn't really sound like he's belting out those screams. Quality sounds good. Good work.
